An all outdoor, inquiry-based three week program for students ages 8-12 (exceptions available). During the first week, students will explore an outdoor setting through hikes and guided adventures. They will be asked at the end of the first week to hone in on a discovery, activity, or interaction that sparked their curiosity and will be invited to study and share their ideas over the following two weeks. Instructors will bring supporting resources for the students and their project ideas.
The inquiry and discovery process will be documented, shared, and celebrated with the families at the end of the program.
The program will run for three days each week, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10am to 3pm. Tuition is for the entire three week session. We will be outdoors most of the time, but shelter will be available. We will meet rain or shine! A list of what to pack each day will be emailed in your welcome letter after registration is complete.
A medical release and liability waiver for each child must be on file prior to beginning the program. These will be emailed to you the week before the start date.
